Students may be required to submit a PDF scan of their work. PDF scans are often easier to read than images and can include multiple pages in the same file. Below are some possible PDF scanning options:

- Adobe Scan Links to an external site. - Save as PDF then share a copy to Canvas Student app. Age 13+
- Genius Scan Links to an external site. - Share to Other Apps then select the Canvas Student app.
iPhone Apps

- Evernote's Scannable Links to an external site. - Send then Share and select Canvas Student app.
Other Options
- All-in-1 or Multifunctional Printer - If one is available in your home, students can scan and save as PDF. Then log into Canvas to turn in. Some All-in-1 devices also come with a mobile phone app.
- Multifunctional Printers on campus - Check with your campus to see if students have access to an MFP to scan PDF versions of a document. After logging in, select Email and scan the document. Then download the file from your email and attach it to the Canvas assignment.
- If you do not have access to a smartphone or PDF scanner, images can be taken with the Chromebook camera then converted to a single PDF. This method should be a last resort because images are typically more difficult to read than a PDF scan.
